RESPONSIBILITIES;
-To examine marine vessels and assess the condition of their structure, machinery and equipment.
-To ensure vessels are constructed, equipped and maintained according to safety standards and are seaworthy.
-To check design plans, and ensure the construction of marine vessels complies with marine industry standards.
-Perform inspections to ensure acceptable standards are maintained throughout the ship's life.
-Inspect passenger and cargo ships, cruise liners, high-speed ferries, small boats and crude oil carriers.

QUALIFICATIONS;
-Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or any other related field.
-Good communication and Technical skills when explaining their findings to client
4 to 5 years of experience in the same field
-Good team work and able to solve problems quickly
